Smokey Quartz

Smokey Quartz is a common, but very powerful, crystal to have in your toolbox. It is a guardian against bad luck, absorbs negative energy and protects the home, office and car. A stone of the Root Chakra, Mooladhara, Smokey Quartz helps to gently open this centre so that we feel safe and grounded.

Physically this crystal can restore energy after periods of illness or depression and is believed to aid in the relief of chronic pain. Smokey Quartz can promote the healthy functioning of the adrenal glands, kidneys and pancreas.

Use Smokey Quartz to absorb and release misfortune and sorrow by holding pointed crystals in each hand, points towards the earth. Visualise or feel the situation, energy or obstacle you wish to shift and imagine it flowing through your hands and fingertips into the crystals and out, down into the earth.
